Apple's "Surprise and shine" tagline for September event also sounds like "Rise and shine", if I'm easter egg hunting. I think of their other new device like a Smart Clock, which replaces an Alarm/Clock/Radio, goes on a table or wall, and provides more functions than old clocks.

I still dislike transparent elements, color changing elements, floating elements, and moving elements in UIs. Imagine if light switch on wall was see-through so hard to see, changed colors so hard to recognize, was covering part of TV, and was in a different spot all the time.

I think it's best to name products using the actual release date in which a product is released, so with Apple's upcoming operating systems I would name them using the current year, such as iOS 25 instead of iOS 26 if it's released in 2025.

I love the old iPad mini 5 with its completely flat back, no camera bump, and a naturally uniform screen. I dislike the iPhone mini 13 with a wobbly back, humongous camera bump, and imbalanced intrusive notch. While out of style, I wonder if Steve Jobs would feel the same way.

I wonder if macOS 16 should allow users to move and remove the Finder app from the Dock, and also include it in the Launchpad and Applications folder. For consistency and simplicity, the Trash folder could allow being moved and removed as well, and be included in the locations section of the Finder.

I think Windows, macOS, and other desktop operating systems should have 2 simple keyboard shortcuts to switch to the previous and next open apps by the order in which they appear on the taskbar or dock.

• Apple is pronounced apple, Facebook is facebook, Twitter is twitter
• Letters aren't spelled as pronounced, so there is ambiguity saying X
• X is fine, but I think that's one big weakness of the brand "name"

I wonder if Apple should make a separate smart camera device, and design the base model iPhone with a completely flat back and no camera bump in the future.

Instead of using the complicated term process-architecture-optimization for releasing three chip designs on one process node, I wonder if it would be simpler to refer to it as tick-tock-tack, or tick-tock-tack-tuck if there are four chip designs.

I wonder if the new highest end Mac mini will simply get the new M2 chip, instead of having a Mac mini with an M2 Pro chip. The previous M1 chip could stick around as a lower tier Mac mini, and the M-Series Pro chips would be saved for the Mac Studio.

I wonder who has the better branding for their processor names, Qualcomm with "Snapdragon 8cx Gen 2" or Apple with "M2"?

Apple should include the Spotlight search bar at the top of the Control Center screen, so it could be accessed like a widget from within any application quicker and easier.

Apple should merge Control Center and Widgets in its operating systems, and remove widgets from the home screen or app launcher.

I wonder if Apple even needs to make a Mac mini Pro or an iMac Pro now, since they have the Mac Studio and have recommitted to the Mac Pro in 2019 after seemingly considering scrapping it in favor of an all-in-one iMac Pro design under Jony Ive in 2017.

If I had to guess if Apple makes a 15" MacBook, a 12" MacBook, or both sizes, I would guess they only make the 12" size, to pair with the current 13.6" MacBook Air. It could have an M3 chip based on ARMv9 and might also be the first non-Pro device by Apple with Mini-LED.

I wonder if iPlay would be a good name for a future smart TV device made by Apple that combines Apple TV, HomePod speakers, FaceTime camera, Siri microphone, a game console, and a smart home hub all inside a TV screen.

I think Microsoft should make the S versions of their Xbox consoles and controller silver instead of white.

• I no longer receive much joy in buying many Apple products because with the latest iPod Touch 7 and Apple TV 6 you are getting 3 year old processor technology and 7 year old design technology.
• The result is that you are still getting the negative of having to wait to buy Apple products on their slow and well thought out schedule, but now without the positive of receiving close to the newest or fastest technology.
